Gaelforce Developments has secured a site at 154 Termon Road, Carrickmore, Omagh, Carrickmore, BT79 9HW. Construction is expected to begin within the coming month, with completion within the next three months.
Planning was obtained on the 16th April 2010 and it will form part of Grogan Quarries Limited’s multimillion pound waste treatment plant. It has been agreed that a Power Purchase Agreement will be entered into with the Waste Treatment Plant for the off-take of the power generated. Any excess power will be taken by the NI Grid. Furthermore, the site will qualify for 4 NIROC.
